I love 21. Utterly classic but young nose of red berries, granite and a youthful grapiness. Some florals as well but a bit of a monolith aromatically out of the gates. More notes later as it opens up on the nose. Palate is so elegant my goodness and has that youthful grapiness. Huge red and darker berry fruit, perfect balance, clarity and purity. So juicy and clean but young but obviously very high quality. More notes as it evolves. Nose now closed at 3 hours but palate has gained finesse and it’s ultra juicy and pure. Finish is clipped but this is the whole package. This has a semi opulent midpalate one can get lost in. Wow. Incredible decadent Pomerol (lafleur?) fruit. Just insane. So elegant. This is the best Burgaud ever. — a year ago
A really fine Pomerol. Drinking beautifully. 2016Guest returned it for being “sharp and tangy.” Well, no. It’s just great. Classic rich red fruit with nice and sure pronounced acidity. Lovely. — 2 months ago
The 2020 Bellegrave is well-defined and poised on the nose, blackberry and briary, hints of truffle unfolding with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a graphite-infused entry. Quite solid and structured, almost like a "mini-Lafleur", with a well-defined and persistent finish that has splendid mineralité. Very fine. (Neal Martin, Vinous, February 2023) — 2 years ago
Well it’s the Acte 8, but that’s close to 9😉 in this price range it’s for me a steal. From a winemaking dreamteam comes this great bottle full of excellent wine, full bodied and fleshy stuff. Cool tannins and a bright future, if you find it just buy it and consider yourself lucky. — a year ago
Tasted blind. It was evident that this was mature Bordeaux at its finest quality level from an excellent vintage. The absence of brettanyomces and a right bank aroma profile pointed towards Lafleur or Petrus. Deliciously ripe and dried red fruits mingle with black truffle, cocoa powder, forest floor and cigar box. Gently caressing the palate, the 1970 Château Petrus delivers a full-body, velvety tannins, a core of dried red fruits and a long, lingering finish. Probably slightly past it's peak, but still spectacular. Drink now. — 2 years ago
This is one of the first few vintage of what is now known as Les Perrières de Lafleur. It has a clear frame of cabernet to it with the dark fruit, tobacco and leather notes. Round, medium bodied, balanced and punches above its price point. Drinks excellent now. — 3 years ago

Glossy and beautiful. Luscious slick fruit with rounded dark cherry and hints of dried herbs. Amazingly textured and intense. Wow — 15 days ago
