Château Lagarde Bellevue

Château Bellevue

Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

Really delicious wine. Deep flavor and incredibly smooth. Paired great with a burger, but it would probably paragraph with just about anything. — 2 months ago

Cuvée Gaia Muscadet 2017

Gorgeous muscadet. Saline nose, palate is mineral-driven, massive note of oyster shell, citron, creamy, medium acid, medium finish. Like a Chablis from the sea. Beautiful work. — 4 years ago

Schiste Bellevue Morgon 2016

These wines when young have felt dense - but at 9 years have shed some fat, with sappy but lively fruit and a tense, mineral energy — 3 months ago

Château Baron Bellevue

Côtes de Bourg Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

I did not have high hopes for this one especially after paying $7.50. However, this is a well-structured wine! Very dark and really good. I wished I had bought more. — 7 months ago

Château La Caze Bellevue

Saint Emilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2022

Lush, full bodied Bordeaux at a ridiculous value. Dense but balanced. All the usual notes of blackberry coulis, currants etc but, man, just eye opening fruit that still feels old school. — 6 months ago

Bellevue Morgon Gamay 2020

2020 Daniel Bouland Bellevue Cailloux Morgon - Gamay from Beaujolais. This is a medium to full bodied wine. Bouland wines are described as defiantly deep, dark, country-style reds with plenty of grip and overflowing with personality. These are wines that are built for the long hall, unlike so many of the region’s wines. I describe this wine as brilliant and delicious. This wine is drinking nicely even without bottle age.

Once again, Beaujolais because they can be deliciously beautiful. Casualness in a bottle with a touch of class. Also can’t beat the QPR on some of these, especially this one.
