Really good! Drinkable right after opening. Tastes earthy and fancy — a month ago
Traditional GSM blend. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of red and black fruit, leather and spices. Ripe strawberry, pomegranate, currant and plum fruit on the palate along with hints of tobacco, vanilla and black pepper. Slight touch of minerals on the medium-plus finish. Full bodied and light on the tannins and acidity. Thanks for opening, Keith S. — 7 months ago
Ink, plum, pencil, forest fruits, tannins still present, but pleasantly and finely rough, they predict a pretty future. Firm and somewhat stubborn too. Red, grilled peppers. — 7 days ago

Total Wine Full Proof Sazerac Barrel Proof. Very good. Smooth. — 6 months ago
Medium deep garnet core with slightly wider terracotta rim . Quite exuberant nose , more dark fruits than the Barton , spicy , cedar notes , touch of funk , swimming pool note also . On the palate quite spicy more intense black fruits , cassis , sous bois , coffee , saline , mineral tinged sea spray notes . Balanced acidity and quite rounded but noticeable tannin . Long and denser on the finish than the Barton . Showing well now but can go another 10 years no problem — a year ago
