Located in Maillet, on good terroirs of Pomerol appellation, purchased around 1920 by Hermine and Joseph Dupuy. Since 1978 the two grandsons of the estate's founders, Jean-Daniel and Michel Rolland, run the estate. Ruby with garnet edges. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Dark berry aromas and spice. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors with toasty herb spice, fine tannins, full body on long finish ending with developing fruit, oak and spice. Great now. — 7 years ago
Thanksgiving round 2. Lots of life left on this. Floral nose, red berries, and a soft dry finish. — 9 years ago
Expectations exceeded with full body Macon-- Simple but lovely. — 9 years ago
Nice Gamay from Savoie, firm tannins for Gamay, red fruits, earth and a hint of leather. — 9 years ago

Really drinkable. Salted lemons and creamy texture. Delicious. And , from only Savignin vyd planted on theacon makes this a rare bird. — a year ago
This was better than anticipated. Smoky, oaky, dark and brooding kind of Pomerol. Went well with a bbqed rumsteak. — 5 years ago

Very young but lots of promise. I gave this 4 hrs in the decanter before consuming. — 5 years ago
(might be wrong about this one) Had this at Hornstulls Bodega a couple weeks ago. Soo drinkable, dense in fruit but so fresh and appealing! — 8 years ago

Nice cherry taste — 9 years ago
Blackberry, cassis, and an early touch of fig that becomes more earthy--leather, mushroom, and floral(?) with aeration. Persistent and mildly chalky tannins afford a nice compliment with grilled filet mignon. Still too young; rating would likely increase (91-92?) with more time. — 9 years ago
