Black fruit, bramble, ganache and sage. — 8 months ago
Dark purple in color with a short reddish rim.
Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing black plums, black currants, coffee, light oak, spices, chocolates and licorice.
Short finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 5 year old Merlot from Saint Emilion is starting to drink nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Rich and extracted. Fruit forward and robust.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
14% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

very pretty, elegant structure, a little dusty , a little too rich on the dark fruits, like a little over ripe. but all in all very nice 11 year old wine — 5 months ago
Our fav red Bordeaux, so far. Smooth. Minimal tannins. Quite light, Pinot density. Mineral notes w just right amount of dark fruit. W loves. From Haskell’s box. — 7 months ago

Quite pale in color after 21 years. Very port wine like. Was too busy for detailed notes. Winner of the evening. — 5 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple of hours. The 2021 pours a deep purple color with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe dark fruits: blackberries, dark cherry, plums, purple flowers, cocoa, organic earth and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. A crowd pleaser to drink now but with enough substance to enjoy through 2036. — 2 hours ago
