Close to pop and pour. Not juicy, but lots of red fruit — strawberry, raspberry, cherry (the pits). Also plum. Some leather. Minerals and clay. A little violet. Dried rose petals. Still has some grip — plum-skin-like. Acidity balances it all very nicely. Really good. 92. — 4 months ago
Deep salmon pink. Oak. Woody. Slight Strawberry. Fresh. Red flower. Feel sweetness, richness (enough bodied), then acidic. Clove. Also raspberry. Tasty. Marsannay Rose Pinot Noir Bruno Clair 22 @4708, Toscan, 250727-250810 — 19 days ago

Neal and Judy Ibbotson have been viticulture pioneers in Marlborough with over 30 years of viticulture knowledge of the region. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus and tropical fruit with herb and floral notes. On the palate flavors of peach, guava, grapefruit and pear fruit with some floral tones, lively acidity adding mineral notes. Medium+ finish ending, citrus, with fruit, herbal, floral and salty mineral notes. Nice! — 3 months ago

Healthier colour , brighter more garnet core slight bricking at the rim . This is a bit more closed and purer red fruit , again with some spice , some slightly earthy notes underneath , but this is younger on the nose . On the palate this is quite sweetly fruited , raspberry , strawberry and red cherry , light saline , mineral notes . This has fresh acidity and lightly grippy tannins . Drinking very well now , with good freshness and a sappy , moreish personality , with good balance . Now and over the next 5-8 years perhaps . Tasted at Hedonism Wines , London . — a month ago
