I love going to California wine country to buy great value European wines at dinner. This was in a great spot. — 3 months ago
2018 vintage. 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Nathalie d'Espagne took over in 2013 and the wines have gained in finesse ever since. Organically farmed since 2009. Beautiful nose with flowers, crushed strawberries, coffee, and subtle spices. In the mouth it displays juicy red fruit, spices and an intriguing minerality on the finish. Fine length too. Very good value for Pomerol. Abv. 13,5%. — 5 months ago

Dark ruby/ brick in color with a wide reddish/ brick rim.
Fruity on the nose, and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing over ripen fruits, cedar, vanilla, espresso, cola, light herbs, earth, chocolates, tobacco and spices.
This is a very tasty Merlot from Saint Emilion. Rich and extracted. Fruit forward and elegant. Complex and interesting.
This 23 year old is much fruitier than I expected it to be. I absolutely loved the nose on this, and kept going back for more.
Good by itself or with food. A great experience to taste these kind of old wines.
A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (50% new) French Oak barrels for 16 months.
14% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Very fresh nose of red berries, and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, red currants, earth, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 6 year old Merlot from Saint Emilion is still very young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Elegant and complex, but a little restrained now.
A good quality wine. Very fresh and young tasting, and a good food wine.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine.
A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

2022 vintage. Medium-bodied, already some evolution to the colour. A little smokiness on the nose. This is ready to drink already, with juicy red fruit and soft tannin. Nice smokey length. Another terrific Bordeaux value. — 12 days ago
