Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. No formal notes. The 2006 “Amber Knolls Vineyard” blows the mind. Yes, I know, it’s made by Schrader but this humble Lake County designation was meant to be enjoyed early while one allowed the more significant Schrader Cabernet Sauvignon’s mature. Yet here we are, thoroughly enjoying this 18 years from vintage. Fruit not only hanging on; dare I say this is still developing? Structure is sound. Drink now through 2030. Very impressive. — 9 months ago
Love! You can taste the bourbon barrel. Smells so good. Long legs, ripe red berries, smoky bourbon barrels. — 2 years ago
Plum, blueberry nose. Medium to full body.
Cherry, blueberry, plum fruit flavors w/ Leather and smoke accents. Medium tannins.
Long finish. Nice overall.

Note that this is the “North Coast” Trousseau, not “Clear Lake”. 2022 vintage. Beautiful wine - cherries, tobacco, a bit of leather, rose water. Almost like a very light Barbaresco. Lovely wine. — 8 months ago
Juicy and the right amount of acid for me to keep me engaged. Cherries and plums are the prominent combo I’m getting here. — 2 years ago

Great flavor. — a year ago
Smooth, yet earthy, rich, but not overpowering Cabernet. Good balance. Tannins are just right. Hints of black cherry and chocolate. It would be good with a steak. — 3 years ago
"Odedi"
Ruby in color with medium intensity and a reddish rim.
Very pretty nose of sweet red and black fruits, cedar, licorice, tobacco, chocolates, coffee, light cola and spices.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and fat legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with black currants, black plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, tobacco, licorice, light herbs and peppercorn.
Tangy finish with soft tannins and cranberries.
This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon from Lake County in California. Spicy and tangy. Showing an elegant mouthfeel with nice complexity.
Easy drinking and good right out of the bottle, but a little hot at the back of the throat.
I had this vintage 4 years ago and it was better then, so drink up.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with hard cheeses and crackers.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.
