Brioche, macadamia, citrus curd. Understated and taut, as the best Pernand whites have to be. This will be even more special in 5-6 years. — 7 years ago
Pale lemon color, with aromas of citrus, floral and flinty stone fruits. On the palate flavors of apple, citrus and dried apricots with floral notes and slight nutty herb spice. Long finish, vivid acidity ending with citrus, floral and stony mineral spice. Nice! — 5 months ago

Holding up very nicely since last time in 2021. Last one I think — 7 months ago
Would give it more time. Pleasurable but feels like it has a lot more to offer after more integration and the unfolding of the contents in the bottle. — 6 years ago
Really an excellent Pinot noir from Sancerre. After my wife and I took a sip we both exclaimed that we need to start buying more Sancerre rouge - just a great quality / price ratio, especially for Pinot noir. This is ruby red, with a dusty cherry nose. A touch restrained on the palate with lots of minerality coming through - great cherry notes on the palate, long finish. Really nice. — 7 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Mellots’ family name dates back to 1513 and a long history with Sancerre. Ruby with aromas of red fruits, spice and floral notes, aged in 50% new oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with notes of herb spice and smoky oak. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, spice and slight earthy character, very nice! — 21 days ago
