Col Dei Venti

Cá dei Zago

Prosecco col Fondo 2022

Unusual as it has way more earth than usual for a Prosecco. Very interesting as it’s not just mass produced fizz. Do not waste by adding OJ — 6 months ago

Barberas like this are a favorite…nice find but don’t know where bought. Darn! Has all the smoothness balance medium+body dark berry flavor taste tannins acidity in sync for the top tier of the class. 2019, will drink again…if can find. — 3 years ago

Colle dei Venti

Tufo Blu Barolo Nebbiolo 1999

This bottle really exceeded my expectations. Just a beautiful nose of sandalwood, Asian spices, dried cherries, and a bit of dark chocolate. Lovely tart cherry and potpourri on the palate, perhaps just a bit lacking in the mid-palate. The tannins really show up on the finish. Paired beautifully with pasta in a truffle cream sauce. — 7 years ago

Cométe Moscato d'Asti 2022

Deliciously sweet, almost like a sparkling grape juice with a hint of alcohol. Paired well with a tart kiwi desert. — a year ago

Col di Corte

Anno Uno Verdicchio Dei Castelli Di Jesi Classico 2020

A traditional Verdicchio, pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of apricot and pear with nutty floral notes. Medium+ finish, lively acidity ending with fruit and floral mineral character. Nice! — 2 years ago
