Nose - soil, wet stone and petrichor/rainy day. Main flavors - delicate stone fruit like plum, cherry and an after taste of fruit pits. Mouthfeel - silky upfront and the a little bit of acid and zing on the back. Really approachable wine. Don’t sleep on dolcetto! Lovely wine. — 2 months ago

Your grandmother lives in a far too cute rural cottage. You wake up in an antique timber cot, the house redolent with pot pourri. Mid morning sun pours through the broken screen door to an empty kitchen, where blackened steel pots are abundant, but no grandma. You push through the screen, to a wild, wild garden, overgrown with wildflowers, berries, citrus, tomato vines, and a cacophony of terracotta potted colour. Big red fruit on the palate of dark cherry, fresh raspberry, cranberry, as well as black tea, licorice, menthol, black pepper, cinnamon, clove, leather, white pepper, sage, oak, and blackberry.
