An explosion of apricot flavor. Round and smooth, heavy weight, with sufficient but not overt acidity. A beautiful sweet wine. — 2 months ago
Unmistakably Central Otago to my palate. Red plums and raspberries. 20% of the grapes were whole bunch. Also aged in 27% new oak. I must mention Neil Martin’s famous Quote, “ Whenever there is a tasting designed to challenge the supremacy of Burgundy, it is usually Felton Road that is ushered into the ring”. Very much on allocation these days and can be difficult to source. — 3 months ago
Beautiful wine. Still kicking after 30+ yrs. lacking a bit of acidity but tannins are still there. Fully integrated and long. Fish @67 Pall Mall. — 18 hours ago
Great wine, probably past its prime time, but still aromatic, well balanced with lime notes. — 12 days ago
Wow. I liked this more than most. Hard alkaline open. Citrus. Dry. Then a little juicy fruit on the way out. — 2 months ago
Wine 1500 🙈 ; opened for World Cup starting 2026 Mexico and South Africa; The cork popped off…; but still managed to get the fine juice out 😉; Vintage 2006, just like the „Summer Fairy Tale“ of the World Cup in Germany; and the wine leaves you wanting more „mehr Lust“, beautifully aged, fine fruit 😋 Wishing everyone a wonderful and peaceful World Cup — 3 months ago

Even in an average vintage like 2007 the Bin 28 can still be showing well at 19 years of age. Blackberry and Penfolds Choc mocha. Some herb garden and liquorice. Will not improve but could carry on for a couple more years. — 24 days ago
Writing tasting impressions from memory as it has been many months but wow this was a complex, layered yet lean #marlborough #sauvignonblanc. — 5 months ago

Deep, dark Ruby red color with a fruit forward nose, lots of ripe berries with oaky notes. Jammy big and bold blackberry flavors with some spice, cacao, cedar and leather notes with nice mouthfeel. Big fine tannins with berry fruit carried over to the finish with oak and sweet spice. — 3 months ago

One of the better savignon blancs from NZ. Not a grapefruit bomb. More subtle NZ fruit/ citrus flavors. — 5 days ago
