Excellent 2019 served with pasta and heavy meat sauce. This didn’t need long to breathe. — 21 days ago
Try as I might to not overstate the brilliance of this wine, over pork cordon bleu and noodles in the town of Chablis on a cold grey day, this wine was the centrepiece in an unforgettable lunch. My first Raveneau and now I get what all the fuss is about. Muted nose with some flinty smoke, and mineral notes. The palate is complex and multi-layered for a mere Chablis: green apple, yeast, buttered popcorn. The 2nd half then unfurls and saline, citrus, and a hint of stone fruit linger long on the palate. The structure perfectly balances the fruit. Nothing out of place. High acid, med+ complexity, high quality. — 8 days ago
A fantastic nose. Intense lemon, cool slate, an oiliness. Surprisingly oaky on the palate. Lovely balance and freshness but a few more years to let that oak settle and this should be amazing — 6 days ago
So good! A little sweet. — 19 days ago

The only Champagne in their flight. First time having this producer.
It has gentle, micro bubbles. Soft mousse. Again, a touch sweet. At least for me. Seems more than 9g. It is interesting to me that with all of France’s rather strict wines laws, I have seen extra brut over 6g & brut over 9g.
Full cherries to kirsch quality, strawberries, pomegranate and raspberries. Gentle dry herbal notes, moist, crumbled chalk & limestone, yeast notes, some white spice, sea fossil/spray, crumbled grey volcanics, pink & red roses, pleasant round acidity, nicely polished finish that is more fruit than earth as it sets and lasts 45 seconds to a minute. — 14 days ago
