Brilliant dark ruby. Spice with a strong leather and cured meat note. Decent body, and bright acidity but no better than a good bourgogne. Meh! — 5 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2010 Corton-Charlemagne pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of green apple, passion fruit, lemon, white flowers, slivered almond and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and slightly buttery. Apparently, this vintage had a reputation for suffering from some premox issues. This bottle was pristine. Based off this example, drink now through 2035. — 2 months ago

Light bodied pinot. Great to slap down with burgers or steak but still delicate enough to sip on during aperitivo. — 6 years ago

Expressive bouquet: flowers, strawberry, chocolate, fig, animal farm, mushrooms, wet wool and vanilla. Well balanced, good acidity, evolving taste. Flavours of milk chocolate with wild strawberry and sweet tobacco in the finish. Quaffable wine with persistent aftertaste. Great wine.
