2024 spring. I was excited to have a bottle - any bottle - of Bachelet, an old favorite which I don’t drink much anymore due to price craziness. This was good, but perhaps due to the vintage was rather dense and dark and brooding - perhaps it will loosen with time — 4 months ago
Medium lemon yellow colour . Quite rich and ripe on the nose with buttered popcorn , lemon oil , toasty hints and some honeysuckle and peach . On the palate this is also quite rich , with lemon peel , apricot and but balanced by good acidity and a quite saline mineral , seashell tinged finish . Drinking well now and over the next 5-8 years. From a half bottle . — a month ago

I struggled with this one blind, bright and lemony but round and a little nutty in the middle, an excellent Aligote but I’m more used to the more natty De Moor style. — 6 days ago
