Complexity hits you right away. Slight oak on the nose and palate. Fresh cut green grass, citrus, hint of pear and acacia flowers on the nose. Awesome minerality and mouth coating acidity on the palate. Ends in a medium plus finish. — 7 years ago

It shows that B-M can make good reds - but the whites are really what put this winery on the map. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of Top Gun. No formal notes because it’s a movie theater and we’re drinking out of paper cups. The 2018 is showing quite well with red berries, lovely florals and spice. I rarely drink the reds from Chassagne-Montrachet; perhaps I should consider it more often? Clean! 2012 BBM is in a terrific place, all about richness and intensity with deep complex layers of butterscotch, spiced orchard fruit and candied white flowers laced with minerality.
