birthday dinner at Noble Rot 04/01/2020 with Paul — 5 years ago
Hay, cherry, a bit of oak and vanilla. The palate is very balanced with a nice sweet, juicy cherry all along a strong acid backbone, some width and some very pleasant touch on the sides. Some rolling tannins before a long and pleasant cherry driven finish. It's good and it's all you can expect from a village burgundy on the fruit side. Joyful and playful. — 5 years ago

The 2019 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru has an effervescent bouquet with orange zest and almond scents. Seaspray touches come through with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a pleasant sour lemon twist on the entry, relatively fresh and tensile with a brisk, quite peppery, lemony finish that lingers in the mouth. Superb. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, December 2023)

Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon with stone and citrus fruit aromas. On the palate crisp apple with lemons honey and flinty notes. This medium-body wine was smooth with a wet stone character with overall good balance. The wine finishes with pronounced mineral notes on a medium+ ending. Very Nice! — a month ago
