Pop and pour. A gorgeous dark ruby red color. On the nose: jumping from the glass are ripe cherries, clove, earth, smokey oak, herbs, bacon fat. Taste: smooth, creamy, expressive mouthcoating wine with black raspberry, ripe strawberry, cedar, tobacco, black tea, little pepper, and a minerally nutmeg medium plus finish. YUM! — 21 days ago
Very fruity , full body, red plum, cassie, blueberry, oak, tobacco, high alcohol, med to long finish , very easy to drink — 13 days ago
Pale golden hue with delicate, fine bubbles. Aromas of brioche, apple, and pear. On the palate, vibrant citrus, white floral, and toasty flavors are balanced and precise. The body is beautifully expressive—rich yet remarkably light. An elegant and refined champagne.

Really tasty. Perhaps the first Cali Pinot noir that I’ve enjoyed, also probably because it drinks more like a zin. Dark opaque red. Slightly smokey. Full bodied. Bought it on sale for $35. Would love to have again. Had with apps on New Year’s Eve, but would be great with food and could even hold up to a heartier meal (steak, etc). — a day ago
