2020 Grand Cras, have had it several times a hint of animale dark stones concentrated red fruits, tannic and taut. Mouthwatering acidity. Incredible value at $21 retail. A standard bearer Morgon. Just also had 2021 equally as satisfying, a remarkable wiine. — 3 years ago
2019 vintage. "Grand Cras" is one of the 6 subzones ("climats") in Morgon, the second biggest Beaujolais cru. Juicy cherry fruit and good structure of soft tannin. Drinking very well now, but should age well for a few years. Great value at 7 euros. Mommessin is part of the Boisset empire, and Jean-Charles Boisset is definitely focusing on quality. — 4 years ago
It has the perfume, the palette, the texture, and the finish... Of GREAT Red Burgundy! Mark Soyard knows what the heck he is doing with these wines! — 4 months ago
Absolutely delivers great gamay character for the price point — 3 years ago
Very nice with cherries and a bunch of funky barnyard, but not distracting. Good fruit with blackberries and a bit of cranberry and herbs. Needs food imo. — 3 years ago
A beautiful well balanced complex rich but light claret. — 4 years ago
