When the wife orders you to pull a nice chardonnay from the cellar, you obey immediately.
This was an exciting bottle with citrus on the nose. Orange peel, pear, roasted bread and citrus on the palate. Good concentration and acidity. Seamless integration. Still more to come with additional cellar time. — 2 months ago
Gorgeous. Rose aroma. Medium body. — 7 days ago
Very nice but a little too unstructured — I preferred the Morey St Denis — 3 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2022 Passetoutgrains pours a ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart berries, like a mixed berry jam. There’s also some red and purple flowers along with some underbrush and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium and has a nice juicy mineral finish. This might benefit from a little time on its side to gain a little more complexity but the quality is undeniable. Drink now through 2032. — 5 days ago
