Blend of 55% Grenache, 40% Syrah with 5% other varieties. Ruby red color with aromas of red berry fruits with spicy notes. On the palate juicy flavors of black cherry and raspberry, adding mild spice notes. Fine tannins, good balance with acidity, medium finish ending with fruit and spice. Consistent from year to year. Good value! — 2 months ago
We have been buying this wine for years and Jaboulet consistently produce good vintages. Great balance and plenty of character, that can be paired with any rich foods you throw at it. And at a fantastic price! — 4 months ago
A beautiful blend. Lemon and a bit of orange on the palate. Nice acidity. Great with chicken. September 2024. — 2 months ago
Deep purple in color with a short purple rim.
Pretty nose with wild flowers, red and black fruits, light oak, tobacco leaf, dark coffee, spices, dark chocolates, barnyard, light earth, herbs, licorice and black pepper.
Full-bodied and smooth with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with cherries, raspberries, spices, light oak, licorice, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco, tar, vegetables, bitter herbs and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 9 year old Syrah from Northern Rhône is drinking very nicely now. Rich and fruit forward.
Extracted and in your face kind of wine. A little stinky, in a good way, as expected. Complex, elegant and smooth.
Peaking now and will continue to drink nicely in the next 7 years.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. I had the 2016 not too long ago, and liked it better.
Good by itself and better with food.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

From mag. A soulful, slightly tangy savory wine. Red fruit, medium bodied with a heft of acidity. Pretty and complex — a month ago
