Drinking in 2024. Inky with rich dark cherry jam. Cedar notes and tight tannins that open up over the long finish. — 3 months ago
Mid to dark Ruby in colour. Black and Red fruits - aromatics of blackberry, note of raspberry, earthy and sandy notes. A medium to full bodied palate - rich and enduring. Costers de Vinyes Vielles comes from the company’s oldest vines. A blend of 110 year old Carinena (55%) and 90 year old Garnacha (45%). Aged for 16 months in French oak. One of the 1001 Wines. 14.5% ABV. Love Priorat wines after our visit in 2022. — 5 months ago

Blend of mostly Tempranillo with about equal amounts of Garnacho, Graciano and Manzuelo, deep Ruby with a graceful bouquet of berry fruits, cigar box spice with fresh earthy tones, a traditional Rioja, still reticent. On the silky smooth palate, elegant with layers of flavors of ripe blackberry and cherry, tobacco, smoky cedar, dark fruit, vanilla spice, very well balanced with fine soft tannins and a clean structure ending with a nice long chalky earthy character. Delicious! Still has room to age. — 4 months ago

Worth stashing a few bottles. Cool bottle of wine. Pinch of earth. Red fruit. Acidity is there. Just a pup. — 18 days ago
