Dry tart fruit with body and long finish — 2 years ago
Honestly thought this was a Champagne in our blind. Turned out to be a German Pinot Blanc Sekt. Wow! Aromas of citrus, brioche, almond, chalk, some lingering herbs. Very pure on the palate, with wicked acidity and chalky minerality. Drinks like a charm, plus it helps that Bastian’s such a great bloke. Also noted that BR and FK did think that more time on lees would have improved the depth and textural quality of the wine. — 3 years ago

A great luxemburg pinot noir. Drink chilled. Flowers, little oak and full of smooth joy — 5 years ago
More like a young barbaresco or alto Piemonte Nebbiolo. Perfumed with a little bit of mountain character, but very firm tannins that have yet to soften. — 8 months ago

Marty Mathis (Kathryn Kennedy) pulled out some great wines for us- this 2016 Cab Franc had a deep purple color. Aromas of blackberry, plum and baking spices. Earthy flavors, cocoa and oak on the finish.
