The 2022 Apsley Gorge Pinot Noir stands out as a smooth, Burgundy-style wine with exceptional balance. Among the best Pinot Noirs we’ve tasted in Tasmania, it offers impressive depth and elegance. — 5 days ago
Very easy sipper. Not overwhelming on the sweetness. But not overly dry either. — 11 days ago
As always, a wonderful wine, great for Thanksgiving dinner at Gary’s. — a month ago
Guess what it’s Chardonnay! If you couldn’t get that then maybe switch to spirits. Very sulphitic in character both on the nose and palate. When you only really drink natural wines this old school wine isn’t what you want any more. The decanter still had a glass in it at the end of the night. — a day ago
Grown in the gravelly soils of Beechworth in the foothills of the Australian Alps. Nearby neighbours would be Giaconda, possibly the best Chardonnay in Australia. This was leaner than ideal but certainly an ideal terroir for cool climate Chardonnay. Good acid and tension but to be critical it lacks a little mid palate fruit. This was the first of 4. Will be interesting to see how it develops. Good value at $35 AUD. — 2 months ago

The perfect accompaniment to plum pudding. Very toffee and raisiny with intensity at 18.5% ABV. My son who rarely drinks anything loved it. Don’t worry. I’m sure I haven’t created a monster. He still went for his regular 10K run on Boxing Day. Rutherglen fortifieds are one of Australia’s gifts to the world of wine. — 6 days ago
