Yes. Beautiful fruit. Favorite year to year — a month ago
2004 Reserve: tobacco leaf, menthol, leather, star anise, and earth on the nose. Gorgeous assimilation of acidity and tannins. Almost unctuous really. Red fruits still feel young as wine opens with gorgeous structure and lengthy finish. At 20yrs old, really hitting its stride, so representative of Nebbiolo!! — 2 months ago
2020 vintage. Medium/medium-heavy body. Blessed with richness up front and grip on the back end without obvious flaws or gaping palate holes. A bit of something for everyone and at decent pricing. In consideration for future...considerations. 01.22.25. — 2 months ago
Extremely dry and fruity on the end. Amber/red. Works well with smoked Gouda cheez its — 3 months ago

Fresh and aromatic. Not very typical Barbera, but definitely great. @Joelia, Rotterdam — 9 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2011 “Gavarini Chiniera” pours a deep garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe red fruit: Morello cherry, roses, licorice, tar, cigar box, Alpine herbs, menthol, truffle, and dry gravelly earth. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long juicy and grippy. Certainly a wine in full stride right now. If you have some, open a bottle now and enjoy the benefits of this solar vintage. Enjoy the rest before 2041. — 3 hours ago
