Emile Michelot

Matthias et Emile Roblin

Origine Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Light floral notes, smooth, creamy, silky, and balanced. Slight citrus tartness that pairs well with oysters and crudo and weighty enough to complement a heavier lemony roasted white fish (we paired it with sea bream). — 5 days ago

I thought this was solid and paired well with the moussaka for dinner

Really good acidity. Some raspberry flavor and earthy notes. Responded well to salt.

Vieilles Vignes Morey-Saint-Denis Pinot Noir 2022

Way too young but it will develop into something quite remarkable! Bit darker than your average red Burgundy, wild strawberries, cherry, black raspberries, black tea, liquorice and spices. Highly concentrated and delicious. — 9 months ago

Tradition Alsace Pinot Noir

Wonderful taut wine. The fruit pops on the mid-palette and the finish is clean with a slight tang. Had it with a maple-miso roasted salmon and it was spot on, and had it with some sous vide short ribs (with a reduction of this same wine) and it stood up nicely. — 3 months ago

Morey St. Denis Pinot Noir

Nose: a non horrible hint of Brett. Cherries. Cherry flowers. Brett goes away after a bit.

Palate: lovely sweet cherry fruit.

Well made.
