Easter pour 🐣. Happy Easter to all who celebrate. The nose is full of cherries, wild strawberries, leather, tar, delicate oak notes. The palate is showing a good acid drive, superb balance, nice cherry and wild strawberry notes all along, some width, a silky, soft texture that evolves toward the middle of the palate when tannins kick in. Tannins are caressing, slightly disrupting the mouthfeel instead of destroying it, adding only a layer of complexity over an otherwise silky and fruity finish. A tiny oaky, bitter note pops in the very end. It's very good 👍 — 9 days ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour alongside the 2005 vintage. The 2009 “Giulio Ferrari” pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with lovely notes of spiced apple, passion fruit, and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and fresher than the 2005 vintage. Drink now. — 4 months ago

Easily one of my favorite Chardonnays. It starts strong with an apple tartness and fruity acidity that fades to mellow oaky undertones with a butterscotch creamy finish. Not overdoing the oak or butter. It's the full Chardonnay experience in waves. Every sip is like trying 3 different wines back to back and I love to savor it. — 5 months ago
