Part 1 of a Columbia county weekend w/friends: a surprisingly rs leaning Sicilian white- accent on the white flowers & fruit, lower on acid. Never tasted this varietal. Rather a broad mouthfeel that went well w local charcuterie, cheese, & jaw dropping tomato salad w garden basil. This vintner makes also a spry Nero D’Avola. — 5 years ago

Nice dry red from Sicily. Very happy! — 6 years ago
Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of raspberries, balsamic, and wood smoke; on the palate, it's dry, with high acidity, high tannins, medium body, high alcohol, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of red currant, cherries, and clay pots with a long finish. This wine is balanced and complex. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it too. — a month ago

Spicy light delish. My taste buds have also been dulled by a recent virus but it does taste spicy to me — 6 years ago

Cherry. Spice, like anise and thyme. Chalky soil. Medium tannins. Medium plus finish. Medium plus perfume. Love Sangiovese but a little tight despite decanting — 4 years ago
Aromas - Almond, apple and a little bit of custard. Lovely in the mouth, slightly oily, a bit of acidity and some peach stone bitterness. Plenty to it for the money.
Ps (read the label after making this note - the label says papaya and I can see that - a papaya is also known as pawpaw or 'custard-apple', however in reality as well as tasting of apples and custard, papayas taste of sewage). — 5 years ago
Mostly smooth, some sweet but also dry. Slight tannin finish, but not much. Good with cheese. — 7 years ago
