ruby red color, bright notes of ripe blackberry - great with duck — 6 months ago
This was a good Cote-Rôtie for its price point. Meaty and smoky, with a nice nose. Decanted maybe 20 minutes before serving. Served with a reverse-seared whole picanha, accompanied with roasted tomatoes and seasoned Greek yogurt, tomato cucumber and red onion salad, and wild rice medley. Good for a night at home with guests. — 3 months ago

Such a tasty Saint-Emilion second wine. PnP. Well-integrated tannins provide a smooth mouthfeel with just a slight astringency, and medium+ acidity brings nice freshness. Primarily cassis, dark cherry, woody herbs, anise, and iron mineral flavors come through with hints of earthy chocolate. Super tasty, and such a good value at only $24. — 7 days ago
