This was the 2006 red, which drank very well, good fruit and acidity to match, will continue to drink well for years to come.. — 5 years ago

Leather and charcoal in the nose; silky smooth in taste. Plums, cherries, lychee and its characteristic pepper tingle — 8 months ago
My style of wine. Good mouth feel with black licorice but not overwhelming. Nice ripe fruit, a touch of spice. — 10 months ago
Very nice showing in a difficult, hot vintage from which many wines are already over the hill. — 5 years ago
Would have pegged this for Chardonnay. Still delicious. — 7 years ago

This was a good Cote-Rôtie for its price point. Meaty and smoky, with a nice nose. Decanted maybe 20 minutes before serving. Served with a reverse-seared whole picanha, accompanied with roasted tomatoes and seasoned Greek yogurt, tomato cucumber and red onion salad, and wild rice medley. Good for a night at home with guests. — 5 months ago
The aromatics on this are powerful and complex. Florals, dark berries and savory components. This is generous and rewarding in youth. A beautiful example of savory/briny character accented by rich red fruit. Structured and textured. This shows great complexity, but also inviting freshness. Absolutely great.
