Fruit forward, but with nice butter and oak notes. Good with BBQ, but the oakiness can be overpowered by the food. — 5 months ago
Shows a little of the bell pepper aromas that I often found in older Sonoma Cabs, but nicely balanced fruit that is still quite youthful, tannins have mostly receded, drinking quite well tonight, bravo Patrick for making this gem!! — a year ago
Ah Gruner.
Nice clear pale yellow.
Melon, mineral, tropical fruits, pineapple, and a bit of petrol.
Slight slight effervescent quality. Great, solid expression of gruner. Chalky, loamy, pineapple, and limestone. — 7 months ago
Fantastic. A non-perfume SB. — a month ago

On the nose, red berries, herbs, spice, and cedar. It was finely balanced on the palate, with flavors of strawberry and slight peppery notes. This wine showed beautiful structure leading to silky tannins on the finish but with enough fruit to keep it pleasant, focused and fresh. Longest tasting note for me. Joyful — 6 months ago
My last bottle from the defunct yet memorable winery.
Smells so delicious, like a fruit yogurt
This drinks like it is fresh, with blackberry bramble, subtle and unique red fruits tucked behind the leather ones.
Tannins are still very gripping, and the acidity tames it back. A touch of heat and its off to the races! — 2 years ago

This is a perfect introduction to Glen Scotia. I’ve loved every sip I’ve taken of every Glen Scotia and this is kind of their house style and it’s most basic and straightforward form. I can’t say the “double barrel” added a huge amount of oakiness, but I prefer it that way. This features the great Glen Scotia notes of caramel, tobacco, stewed apples, brine and a little bit of smoke. A pretty amazing value. — 7 days ago
