Dear Friends warning this wine needs 48 hours to open up! I kept it for that time under Argon!

Still think the 2015 Muschelkalk mights have peaked. I opened 3 bottles. The first was oxidized and the other 2 were good to world class. The cork on all three was quite soft.

The wine has this ethereal character but the twisty black forest herbs are somewhat gone. It is still great to drink - but to shine one needs stupido patience.

Calk, very faint cherry. (Collecting E&M since 2009. And have been at the winery every other year.).

If you have it you must really experiment and play around but also - drink it up! Not a wine for normal or sane people.

This is the Rosé Villa Ida 2022 from the Côtes de Bourg estate Château de la Grave. 100% Merlot, fermented and aged in dolia jars. I am not a big rosé fan, but this is a deliciously fresh wine with impeccable purity. — 2 years ago

This is La Estratega Cab Franc. Nose is blueberry, tobacco, earthy, mushrooms. Full bodied, medium tannins, youthful, similar to nose plus red plum. Weighty mouthfeel. — 4 months ago

Absolutely stunning. In a perfect spot. Light in color. Tinge brown. Dark berry driven nose. Pinot fruit/Tart prune plums. Hint orange juice. Touch herbs oregano/thyme. Tannins left would allow this to go for another 2-4 years? Less acidity compared to the 2013 Buntsandstein. I hate to use the word but this is so smooth! And juicy. — 10 months ago
