Great as always but I am going to age the other remaining for a couple of years, great mix of minerality , acid and cream mouthfeel. Get the lemon custard and some other white stone fruit — 3 months ago
Tasting great. Classic knights valley. Big fruit, oak, balanced. — 5 months ago
Colour is very pale with just the lightest hint of coral pink. It’s off-dry with lots of ripe tropical fruits on the noise and palate - cantaloupe, peach, and a hint of floral. It’s a very interesting blend of grapes. — 5 months ago
Great cabernet sauvignon. Black fruit aromas, well balanced. Sipping while in Tobago. — 7 months ago
51% CF, 49%ME. Enjoyed the wine & blend. For me, these wines are a bit rough when young but smooth out nicely with age. — 4 years ago
Fruit forward. Bright, fresh and fleshy. Coffee, chocolate and dark fruit on the nose. Well balanced structure with excellent acidity on the palate — 3 months ago
Weeknight treat. Medium body, creme brulee on nose and some custardy finish but great acid. Just so many great things to love in this chardonnay. I still prefer Ma Belle Fille — 5 months ago
Really nice starting to get some secondary flavors. Overall enjoyed it. — 6 months ago
Exceptional Sonoma cab. Big, dark, soft and lush. Jammy in texture, dark cherry finish — 8 months ago
So, I’m of the opinion that Gerhard Reisacher’s sweet spot is Cabernet Franc. This 2009 isn’t quite as good as his 2007 - that is the best 100% cab franc I’ve ever had - but this is damn close. No trace of the bell pepper you typically get from people picking the fruit too early, this is a terrific wine with notes of something reminiscent of roasted chipotle pepper, black pepper, and currant. Medium-to-full bodied palate with a silky, mouthfilling feel leading to a lingering finish. This is nothing like a cab franc from The Loire - pure California - but a terrific wine nonetheless. Winemakers would do well to take lessons from Gerhart on how to handle this varietal. — 6 years ago

Seems to have lost a little crispness over 5-1/2 years but still quite good with long finish — a month ago
Ok. Might need more air that I gave. — 2 months ago
This is a rich, powerful, balanced wine. Ripe red and black fruit core with a nice background presence of fresh jalapeño, barrel spice, and black licorice. Tannins are silky and refined. — 5 months ago
At Mark Paul NYD Party old Cab series. Continuing with old Cab series. Equally surprising as the McDowell but a totally different profile, with more oxidative notes as expected for such an age and with rounder texture and shorter finish — 6 months ago
Nectar of the gods! — 6 months ago
Tasting older. Lots of earl grey tea, dried cherry, potpourri, some cedar, plums. — 7 months ago

Smooth slight pineapple but not too tart. Buttery, but not too sweet. Refined. — 2 days ago
