Drinking well now but will clearly open out and develop in time. Lovely soft raspberries and great length and backbone. — 8 months ago

Excellent bottle — 6 months ago
Nose has deep blackberry fruit and a bit of garrigue-y earthy notes, a little iodine. Deeply rich in the mouth. The fruit has a very slight pruny element but does not detract. In the finish, however, the peppery heat of the alcohol (only a stated 14.5%) makes a prominent appearance. Long. — 10 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (41%), Merlot (50%), Cabernet Franc (7%) and Petit Verdot (2%), aged in French oak, 45% new, same ownership as Lynch-Bages. Deep Ruby red color with aromas of red and black fruits with smoky spice. On the palate flavors of black raspberry, currants and black cherry with licorice, toasty oak and tobacco. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and earthy tobacco spice. Starting to drink well now and will continue to develop! — 4 days ago
