Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits with biscuit and floral notes. On the palate flavors of peach, apple and melon with white floral herb notes. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and yeasty notes, lively acidity with slight mineral character. Small production, nice! — 6 months ago
Try and try again until a bottle like this appears. There’s a fragility to this wine for sure, but I couldn’t ask for more when the smell of cherry liqueur filled the room as it was uncorked. In the glass, it unfurled with aromas of dried roses, truffles, and a touch of black tea. The colour was kind of like aged Nebbiolo, though leaning towards the ruby red hue. The palate was light-bodied with notes of cherry liqueur and an interesting mineral streak. The wine held on to this state for about an hour before it started losing a bit of life, with madeirised fruit notes appearing. Very pleasant experience. — 10 months ago
Sweet with body recommend with a salad or something light to combine full body and light food aperitivo work. With cheeses can be, I had it with salsiki, tartare and salad really good combo — 2 months ago
Transparent Ruby red. Relatively high acidic due to from northern part. Spices. Light body but enough taste. Elegancy. Amaury Beaufort Les Jardins de la Porte de Troyes Rouge XIX, Pinot noir, Chablis 19 @4300, fruit, 241221 — 6 months ago
Great, 2022. Medium bodied. — 9 months ago
Clear, deep berry red. Shy but inviting nose and medium palate of Montmorency cherry, soft leather, and stony pomegranate. In true Tavel form its decidedly *not* fruit forward. Rather it's a nicely complex deep rosé that's at home anywhere you'd take a lighter red. Steak-topped salads and Thanksgiving dinner are immediate come-to-minds. Drink now through 2030. — 2 years ago
— 5 months ago
Solid, but just a tad too much Brett for me that ended up more of a distraction rather than beneficial. — a year ago

Really had a craving for a high acid white in the spring sun! This is from 90+ year old vines from the Saumur region. Upon opening there was a lot of sediment/turbidity and even some residual co2, which quickly blew off. I smell a beautiful dusty marzipan chenin nose. On the palate this has citrus, marzipan, a little peach and a popcorn like reduction. Obviously enough acidity. A little oxidation which adds to the complexity of the marzipan flavors. Gained balance after 30 minutes. Next bottle in a year or so if I can keep my hands off them. — 20 days ago
