Ripe style, but maintains a ton of freshness for a rich, tasty drink, apricot and honey. — 3 years ago
Typé Meursault, beurré légèrement, du fruit blanc, un vin avec un bel équilibre entre cette richesse et cette générosité tout en ayant une acidité bien dosée, belle longueur. 91-92
Very typical nose and palate, nice balance and edging more towards fullness and richness but with enough acidity to support it, great length too. Love it. — 3 years ago
Less delightful than last bottle. Came out quite dark yellow relative expectations and oxidated.
Pairing confused the tasting but couldn’t help get some serious acidity and tartness. Some apple notes and not the bright lemon sunshine. This was limey. — 3 years ago
Lovely aromas of cherry, minerals (limestone) cherry flower and some hints of red licorice. Very bright nose and very lifted. Palate is juicy and acid driven with terrific energy and wonderful driving minerality. Slight reductive funk on the nose blows off very quickly. A pretty wine and drinking well now. Very tangy and fresh with pretty tannins that are ripe. Like many 17’s this is gorgeously skinny. — 3 years ago
Lemon cream sherbert, lean and refined with nice lift and balanced oak. — 3 years ago
Complex nose, spicey oak, green apple, gorgeous minerality, terrific spice, amazing deep minerality and a stunning expansiveness. Really wonderful white burgundy symphony on the nose. Just unreal. What a nose. Tree bark, dry soil. Just stunning. Wow. Juicy, energetic, luscious, fresh, vital, elegant, complex. Wow. What a wine. Just gorgeous. Maybe best Monthelie Blanc I’ve ever had from Boussey. Explosive and wonderful. Spicey as well. A brilliant bottle. Finish is epic. — 3 years ago
