Pagani Ranch Norma's Block Zinfandel Blend 2022

Actually the “Norma’s Block” bottling - apparently made from a small parcel within Pagini Ranch still owned by a grandmother. Delicious. Dense and fruit forward, with excellent acid keeping things balanced throughout. Quite enjoyable. — a month ago

@Tom Casagrande @Jay Kline quite agreed! I think I purchased this on-site in Lytton Springs and the chaps there had a lot of fun quizzing me on old field varietals that I didn’t know :)

Mont Pelé Mâcon Villages Chardonnay

Crisp- citrus with some lemon honeysuckle. it’s oakey, but not too much. Getting my fill of white before it becomes too cold and need to dip in the reds! — 5 years ago

Medium pink color. Smells like strawberries and pomegranates on the nose. Tastes like cranberries, strawberries, and raspberries. Intense, but balanced acidity with a long finish. Nellie likes it too! — 2 years ago

The Vineyard at Florence

Roma Williamson County Red Blend 2010

2010 Forte from The Vineyard at Florence in Texas. Made from 100% Lenoir (which is actually a native Texas grape that formed a natural hybrid with a Spanish grape), it’s full-bodied, rich & fruity. Very much like a pure Syrah with a touch of pepper & spice. Soft tannins & a smooth finish make it one of the best Texas wines I’ve ever had! Cheers🍷 — 5 years ago
