One of my favorites from Provence, mineral but a juicy note with peach and strawberry, crisp and light — 10 months ago
Started the night with a $6 Sauvignon Blanc from the same maker. Just fantastic. At the end of the night, I ask for a good dessert wine and I get this 12 year old late harvest semillon grown in gravel. Unfiltered deliciousness. — 10 months ago
Racy with some grip, good fruit/mineral combo — a year ago
Blackcurrant and leather notes. Very savoury on the palate - a little disappointing to be honest. See previous Delectable note. I haven’t had a lot of experience with Cornas and was looking forward to this because of its stellar reputation. I have a reasonable collection of Clape Cornas in my cellar which are not ready to drink yet. To be honest this was a bit underwhelming compared to many stellar Shiraz we are lucky enough to have in Australia. Hopefully the Clape, the Rostaing and the Jamet with time in my cellar will be impressive. — a year ago
Dry with nice rose flavors. Good value — 6 years ago
What a great wine! Pinot Noir from the Cote Champenois. Very mineral, with some nice red fruit on the palate. You can taste where a Blanc de Noir gets its profile from in this wine. Great to have this “Grand Cru” with some age on it (9 years). I picked up two bottles up in the silent bid auction of the 2025 Wine on Wheels event. Such a lucky buy. Enjoyed with home cooked grilled lamb, sautéed mushrooms with a Sherry reduction, asparagus and wild rice medley. Pretty good, although probably a touch better with something more along the lines of poultry (roast chicken or duck, maybe turkey). — 9 months ago
price is right, taste is right, great wine for a summer day — 10 months ago
Still a baby, perfumed, smokey, nice acidity, lots of tropical and stone fruit, — a year ago
Loved this wine! So complex. Brioche, nutty, high acidity. — 5 years ago
Incredible Traditional Brut! I really enjoy extra dry cava and while this is from France not Spain I’ll be buying it again. If the bubbles were smaller I would definitely give it a 10! It’s dry but has a long finish that’s amazing, really well balanced. — 6 years ago

This was a by-the-glass favorite at the Loire property where we stayed. Biodynamic Pinot d’Aunis. Lots of wild red berries complicated by earthy, peppery and floral tones — a year ago
