Y’quem two days in a row? Pinch me! Turpentine/French basement comes across the nose. A flavor punch to the palate, a mouthful of fruit and a looong finish - stewed apricot, peaches, apple. A hint of woodsiness (cypress?) and a sweet creaminess like crème caramel. Amazing wine that frankly overshadowed the apple tart tatin dessert pairing. — a month ago

Good but a little overpriced,
The 2018 Cuvée Les Demoiselles is a blend of 62% Mourvèdre, 28% Syrah and 10% Grenache aged in 36% new French oak. Winemaker Stephan Asseo says that the Mourvèdre vines are more than 20 years old now and that he has started picking it a bit riper than he used to. — 3 years ago

Nice balance of acidity and fruit for a 16 year old wine. 2010. In fact it’s pretty fantastic. A bit of stewed apricots d hints of green apple. The tertiary elements are charming as heck. Go team! — 8 days ago
