Initially a musty smell which blew off. Aromatics of sweet ripe nectarine and river gravel. Rich flavours on the palate with that nectarine coming through with the minerality. Oak influence is totally integrated as with the Montelena. This is Boillot’s Les Perrieres from Meursault not Puligny Montrachet Les Perrieres. Spotlessly made. A superb 1er Cru Meursault - a point or 2 higher than the Montelena. Both excellent Chardonnays. — 8 months ago
Good acid and structure but the true profile was starting to show by the last sip, even at 11yo this takes a long, long long time to open up. I kept half a bottle for one day under vacuum cap, and I should’ve just stored it with the cork — 6 months ago

Notoriously a terrific vintage for PYCM, 2011 Perrieres, its top Meursault bottling is absolutely stunning tonight, in a killer spot and firing on all cylinders wafting from the glass with layers of yellow orchard fruit, white flowers, pastry cream and marzipan. The palate has superb definition, incredible minerality and racy citrusy acids each providing freshness, energy and balance to its intense richness, which lead to its long mineral inflicted finale. There will never be enough PYCM Perrieres for the world. White burg at its finest. — a year ago

Wine geek wine! From a vineyard above Perrieres that was filled in and as a result this wine has to be called Bourgogne. Very stony, somewhat austere, but tasty. — 5 months ago
