Classic. Crisp citrus, hint of cut grass, slight salinity, wet rock, great acidity. — 4 days ago
2018 in 2024. Could use some more time in the cellar. — 3 days ago
Deep, rich aromas of leather and black fruit. Silky mouthful with easy tannins. Excellent sip! — 4 days ago
Happy Mother’s Day to me! Have held this 2018 and so glad I did! — 2 days ago
This IS Santa Barbara County Pinot! First taste was a big burst of fruit. Not to sweet, not supple and unsophisticated, not a jammy Zin bomb, mind you. Instead, more like a zing of bright, pure, winey fruit. Remarkable and memorable. We had the 2022 vintage in a magnum bottle so perhaps that helped preserve its freshness and purity. We enjoyed this Big Mama at the Palm Restaurant in downtown LA, celebrating my daughter Rachel’s graduation from UCLA Law School. Congratulations, Rachel! — 2 days ago
Monday night pull. Idiot friend wanted wine with burgers. He said “it’s red meat”. Meh, rather have a coke. Good juice. Cork was soft. Enjoyable but maybe better sooner? I won’t know. — 15 days ago

Exquisite gold color. Insane nose! Minerals, beeswax, and subtle honey. Same on the palate. Oily, dense texture, which I love. This is right in my wheelhouse! I could swirl this in my mouth all night! — 9 days ago
