Medium ruby in color, sparkling; raspberries and blueberries on the nose; tastes like cherry jolly ranchers and candied berries. A really nice dessert wine. I like it. — 3 months ago
One of my absolute favorites, but I have to order it from Italy. Vernaccia nera grape — a year ago

Outstanding meal at Ophelia in Quebec City. Austere, lean wine. Softened 30 min after opening. — 5 months ago
Blend of Negroamaro (90%) and Malvasia Nera (10%). Bright ruby color with a distinct brick rim. Aromas of black fruits, roasted meat and purple flowers. Flavors of black cherry, ripe plums and baking spices. Long, earthy and powerful finish. Bone dry, rustic and full bodied. Thanks for opening, Chris B. Revisited in October 2014. Still bright and fresh. Aging beautifully. — 5 months ago

Medium deep ruby with garnet rim . Freshly cut herbs like sage and rosemary with cedar , plum and dark cherry , liquorice . On the palate quite dense but with fresh acidity and firm slightly dry tannins . More of the plum and dark spiced cherry , blackberry, herbal and liquorice touches on the reasonable length finish . Drinking well now though will continue to show well over the next 5 years . Slightly under the radar with good personality and surprising freshness . — 5 months ago
This wine will evolve into one of the best Brunello di Montalcino’s, just spin a bit too tight at this moment to show off the exceptional aromatics and structure. Dried red and white rose petals, English breakfast tea, charred plum, Cohiba cigar. — 7 months ago
