Left Bank Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%). Dark ruby color. Aromas of black fruits, forest floor and menthol. Flavors of black berry/currants with hints of dark chocolate and roasted nuts. Long and smooth finish. Intense but well balanced tannins and acidity. Medium-plus body and nice freshness. Thanks for the bottle, Kase. — 25 days ago

1986 vintage. 5 bottles tasted for a 1986 vintage BDX dinner @ Mister A's-San Diego. This was up against other 1986's Pichon-Lalande, Beychevelle, Gruaud-Larose, Montrose and Cos. Double decanted and tasted over 5 hours. Respectable sed. Effin pop and pour now. Right right now. The clear winner. So good with balance and enough fruit without having to reach or rationalize. If you're not able to access for 7-10 years, you should be okay. Delicious. 3.14.24. — 8 months ago
Bordeaux red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (56%) and Merlot (44%). Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Ripe red fruit aromas with distinct purple flower notes. The palate is more black fruit (blackberry and black currant) focused with hints of black tea, baking spices, wet stones and dried mint. Touch of saline on the finish. Medium bodied and crisp acidity. Well balanced and harmonious. Thanks for opening this one, Keith S! — 2 months ago
2018 vintage. Supposedly from the team that brings you Château Gruaud-Larose from St. Julien. Correspondingly lean with light-medium body. Not flashy in any aspect (which validates the G-L lineage) but exceedingly well made for the resto price of $18. Nice effort. 7.17.24. — 4 months ago

What a joy. On opening the nose is spectacular and floral. After a few minutes in glass it’s settled. Leather, graphite, blood. There’s roses, delicate underbrush. Very lucid and clear. What a treat. — 7 days ago
