A shockingly vigorous palate for a wine if this age. Caramel, sherry, toasted nuts, orange peel, just so much going on and with the intensity of a wine a century younger. All this is driven along by an intense and thrilling acidity. What a treat. — 2 years ago
Nutty, caramel without being cloying, and bold. — 3 months ago

Lemon and grapefruit accents, medium body, nice acidity, enjoyed as our “pre-lunch” morning aperitif (since Alba is Latin for Dawn, seemed appropriate to drink as a morning wine). — 2 years ago
Complex yet very harmonic orange Malvasia. Overripe apples, balsamic. Notes of thyme. Finest Slovenian craftmanship! — 5 years ago

Great wine. Needs some time to open. Dried cherries, herbs, some leather and hint of olive brine. Awesome with food. Love it — a month ago
