Very smooth with black cherry undertone. Zero acidity. Very good. — a year ago
As someone else noted, a rare bottle of a super rare red grape from Burgundy called “Cesar” (10 hectares in the world) — very dark color, rich, dark fruits, some noticeable structure, this needs 3-5 years aging to settle down, a great “stump your wine friends” wine!! — a year ago

This was a real treat after the Gentaz-Dervieux since Rene Rostaing is Marius Gentaz’s son-in-law. While the vineyards that belonged to Marius are now famously part of the Rostaing domaine, that vineyard goes to Rene’s Côte Brune; this is his Côte Blonde and arguably his most famous bottling. This 2004 pours a cloudy ruby with brambles, purple flowers, blood, dust and leather. Slightly rustic which is what I want from Rostaing. I love the individuality and how it paired with the Iberico pork cheek, mushroom ragu with lavender and thyme. Plenty of life left. Drink through 2034+. — 9 months ago
Excellent village from Marius Delarche. Fruity mores still there. Secondaire notes upcoming. Perfect timing for me — 2 years ago

Light, floral, and tight with a little, no perfume. I don’t want to call it thin, but it was lacking a bit in intensity. Solid green florist and herbal notes, tight concentrated fruit. — 17 days ago
