The nose starts off with attractive tropical fruits, followed by honeydew, lemongrass, and whiff of green bell pepper. There is hint of earthy elements that I could not pinpoint. The palate is richly textured yet vibrant. Great concentration and intensity. The candied long finish is uplifted by beautiful acidity.
Fabulous 10-year young SB that will have another 4-5 years of drinking window. Very impressive. — 6 months ago
Light straw color. Aromas of grapefruit, unripe peach and white flowers. More pear, green melon and quince fruit flavors with hints of lemon/lime, orange zest and noticeable fresh cut grass on the medium finish. Crisp acidity and a slight creamy texture. Solid. Butterball. Very oaked and manipulated Chardonnay, but a nice value at $25. Nice oaky nose, with excellent Chardonnay grape notes that are so fragrant. The palette is a little over the top but great for very creamy dishes. Very flavorful for a $25 Chardonnay. — 5 months ago
Chardonnay isn't typically what I go for when it comes to white, but this one might have changed me forever. It's very buttery with deep golden raisin flavor right after corking which gives such an elegant, warm vibe. But after 30min-1hr it mellows down to beautiful medium bodied fruits and flowers like edelweiss, pear, golden apples, and pineapple. — 8 months ago
