Been a minute since I have had this. Insane nose of phyllo dough, saline, green apple skins. some melon and also huge limestone. Palate is dense and tactile with an almost tannic presence and Chassagne like structure. Really dense and textured. Juicy and concentrated but needs air. A nice wine, if a bit lacking in intensity. I expect a bit more mineral edge and intensity of citrus from this site, as it is one of my favorites. However, did have a nice balance between fruit and acidity. Enjoyed on the water of Georgian Bay, Ontario. — 4 months ago

Who says Merlot can not age. This is delightful. I would say there is just a hint of browning at the edges but this is a big glass and if I had, had this with mom at the restaurant instead of the Tor - you never would have seen it. It is rich and full on the palate. Finish is long. I think the nose is a bit muted but given its age super nice — 3 months ago
