The nose is intense, intense, ripe cherry, almond, black tea, soy sauce, this is complex and inviting. The palate is acid driven, showing some young and lively tannins, but it's rich, broad, with some matter on the side, cherries and black tea notes, a bowl of a mid palate with that tannic effect, and a long tannic finish with cherry, a tiny salty, savoury note, some black tea and a bit of a zing thzt lasts for a good minute. Very dense and black in colour. These wines always remind me of Fruit and Nut milk chocolate. The colour makes you think full bodied but it’s actually light to medium bodied. A luscious mouth filling palate with the savoury milk chocolate together with notes of raisin and date. Supple yet persistent tannins. Reminiscent of a Priorat Garnacha in some respects. — 21 days ago

Unique profile on this Santa Cruz Chard. Opens to nutty and nuance and settles to citrus and refreshing. — 16 days ago
