Fantastic Barbera d’Alba! — 2 months ago
A $40 Barbera….. but it drinks like a $40 Barbera. Really tasty. Would be a great midweek go to wine when cooking Italian at home. — 6 days ago

Ciao Italia. Kun københavnere på Bolognas fremmeste naturvinsbar. Dét sure sprøjt gider italienerne ikke. (9 euro). — 2 months ago
Reddish in color with a purplish hue.
Elegant nose and full bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity and mouthfeel.
Showing raspberries, cherries, black plums, black currants, coffee, light oak and spices.
Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is an elegant and very pleasant Nebbiolo from Piedmont.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime.
Still young and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years.
Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in used American and French oak barrels for 12 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

2021 vintage. Last tasted a week ago (9.3). Everything I said then + a caviar bump this tasting episode. Unexpected lushness hand in hand with likes to fight guy...er...tannins. Ridiculous juice now. Dunno where it'll land in a 5-spot but guessing it'll be a pretty perfect landing. 7.23.24. — 2 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Deep Ruby color with aromas of rich berry fruits and floral spice, aged for 14 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry flavors, with leather, cacao, spice, herbs and tobacco notes. Lively acidity, fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with spicy mineral and earthy oak. Nice! — 17 days ago
