Drank at queens English natty wine hour. Tart refreshing great w food — 9 months ago
Great Cab Franc from a great producer. A bitty of natty funk but also great nutty and black fruit notes on the nose. The taste is pretty classic bright red fruit with nice mineral notes and bit of black pepper on the end. — 2 years ago
Worried it might be a little natty for my taste at first but the funk blows off quickly to reveal a fragrant & expressive wine—orange peel, orange blossom, fennel pollen, pumpkin and a gorgeous salinity.
It’s a wine that really sings with seafood. Had it with Provençal Cod with olives and fennel.
Her winemaking talent really shines in the texture—particularly the finish. Definitely a lot of skin contact here, but the tannins are elegant and the finish is crisp, salty and refreshing —no graininess or bitterness.
Like Stanley Tucci says to Arianna, “I could bathe in this wine” — a year ago
Hardly a rosé… chilled this drinks like Hawaiian Punch with some kind of natty funk dry finish, light and sticky. Wasn’t too sure at first, but it grew on me quickly. — 2 years ago
Was worried by initial natty aromas but they blew off to reveal a beautiful Syrah. Dark berries, granite, fine tannins. Not overly polished. Delicious with braised short rib and ricotta gnudi. — a year ago
