Solid Cru Beaujolais. Medium garnet color. Bright aromas of ripe red and black cherries, earth and violets. Expressive flavors of red and black cherry/raspberry/currant fruit, tobacco and a pleasant hint of baking spices. A bit of black pepper and the presence of stemmy carbonic maceration on the very long and tingly finish. Quite juicy and crisp. Fruit forward, nicely structured and pretty well balanced. — 6 months ago
Excellent all round wine which pairs well fish and shellfish — 7 months ago
2018 vintage. Last tasted 11.4.25 (9.3). Opened AND decanted (this time), tasting after 15 minutes and one hour with the temperature between 55-62 degrees. White pepper, citrus oils, lemon zest, trace minerals and hazelnuts. Perfectly between medium/medium-heavy body with that yellow Chartreuse color and a pleasing, sumptuous amount of total harmony. Miffy that this was the last bottle. Quite the ride. Contribution to the FLB (Friday Lunch Bunch). 2.13.26.

2022 vintage. My contribution to the FLB this week. Opened and decanted. Perfect cork. Some reticent citrus on the nose. Light-medium body. Mostly tasted between 53-60 degrees. Brilliant yellow color. White pepper, fresh mint and perfectly ripe sugar snap peas (¿?) in the flavors. Finishes with the endless A Day In The Life piano chords of the freshest and subtlest vanilla ice cream note imaginable. If you’re busy or occupied, it might just pass you by. One bottle left. 3.13.26. — a month ago
